If I need a nature fix, Rockledge Park is my place! It has beautiful views, hiking, and mountain bike trails. It is also a great place for picnics, kayaking, and fireworks!

Dallas Arboretum
Another nature fix, but curated! The Dallas Arboretum is one of the most lovely botanical gardens in the USA. It features rotating installations of flowers, festivities for holidays, and food options.
Scat Jazz Lounge
My absolute favorite place to see life Jazz in DFW!!!. It’s romantic, dark, and makes you feel like you’re back in the 1920s. For the best Jazz in Dallas specifically: Balcony Club
White Rock Lake
White Rock Lake features a 9.33 mile hike and bike trail, green space for relaxing with a blanket or a hammock, and Winfrey Point specifically has the best views.
Central Market
My absolute MECCA. I find myself at Central Market on Lovers 3-4 times a week. It’s one of my comfort places. I moved away from Dallas for a short stint a few years ago and missed CM the most.
